WHY WE EXIST
The bridge had to be built deliberately.
Africa is one of the world's most consequential economic frontiers — 1.4 billion people, a median age of 19, the largest free-trade area on the planet under AfCFTA. Yet most international companies and investors lack the local knowledge, the relationships, and the on-the-ground execution capacity to engage with the continent confidently. PontAfrique Advisory exists to close that gap.

OUR FOUNDER
Prince Bobby Jjuuko Kimbuggwe
Bobby Kimbuggwe founded PontAfrique Advisory in 2025 to build the firm he wanted to hire when he was on the other side of the table. 20 years building agribusiness ventures and trade corridors across East Africa. He has led the strategic development of value-added agriculture operations, structured cross-border partnerships across the East African Community and worked at the intersection of African production and international markets.
He holds a working understanding of three things African business rarely combines: the commercial realities on the ground, the institutional language that capital allocators speak, and the regulatory and stakeholder architecture that determines whether a project succeeds or stalls.
He lives in Kampala and works across the firm's regional offices.
